Mica Heli Ski Trip 2023, Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada
Mike and I headed to the Mica Heli Lodge for a 4 day ski trip again this year. We were greeted with some very cold temperatures and also a lot of snow. “Snow immersion” was one of the biggest concerns of the trip. That’s a good problem to have. Due to a deep persistent weak layer and poor visibility from the snowfall, we spent a lot of time in the trees, particularly “the Burn.” I don’t think we really saw the sun until our last day. We had great conditions each day and ended up skiing over 81,000 ft over the 3.5 days we spent skiing. Here are some of the highlights from the trip.
