Atlatl Rock Petroglyphs, Valley of Fire State Park, Moapa Valley, Nevada
If you’re looking to see some petroglyphs without having to walk very far, the Atlatl Rock Petroglyphs are a great option. Located in the Valley of Fire State Park near the Atlatl Rock Campground, one only needs to walk ~100 feet from one’s car and climb 3 flights of stairs to see these petroglyphs. There were quite a few petroglyphs on this wall, and I thought the short walk was worth it to see them. The petroglyphs are over 4,000 years old. What do you think they mean?
